Welcome
Home Barn and The Granary used to be part of a working farm. We are situated in the countryside north of Preston, Lancashire, a mile or so from the village of Woodplumpton. Despite being such a short distance from the City of Preston, this is a very quiet rural setting and ideal for relaxation or for those working in the area.
The Lancaster Canal runs next to the property providing beautiful views, interesting walks and a variety of wildlife. We are on the Northern Route of the Lancashire Cycleway and welcome cyclists. Guests can enjoy a variety of animals - pygmy goats, rabbits, ducks, geese, hens, Colin the cockerel and Maggie the cat. Our own free range eggs are always on the menu. The owners have three very friendly dogs and welcome well behaved pets.
Home Barn
Home barn was converted into a house from the original barn and completed in early 2009. It is our home and we have one room for bed and breakfast guests with a double bed.
The Granary
The Granary is just across the yard from Home Barn and was originally used as a piggery amongst other uses. This too was converted into a single bedroom self catering cottage with a very high standard of accommodation.
