Welcome
Home Barn and The Granary used to be part of a working farm in the countryside north of Preston, Lancashire, near the village of Woodplumpton. Despite being such a short distance from the City of Preston, this is a very quiet rural area and ideal for relaxation or for those needing to travel to Preston.
The farm is no longer a working farm, so there is none of the noise, smells or muddy yards often associated with farmhouse living. We are right by the Lancaster Canal, a mile or so from the village. We are situated on the Northern Route of the Lancashire Cycleway and welcome cyclists. Well behaved pets are welcome too.
Home Barn
Home barn was converted into a house from the original barn and was completed in early 2009. It is our home and we have a single, spacious bed and breakfast room with a double bed.
The Granary
The Granary is just across the yard from Home Barn and was originally used as a piggery amongst other uses. This too was converted into a single bedroom self catering cottage with a very high standard of accommodation.
